Awesome! I hate to say it but that space dog is really quite cute in panel 3. That should be my desktop background…

  In fact this whole page sprung from the fact that I was designing him and I wanted to see if he could be both cute and monstrous. And the first little doodle was him hiking his leg. I was like damn.. that’s gotta make it to the page!!

Who knew that filling the sea of tranquilipee only took a little golden shower. I like how all the heads in the sixth panel look surprised. Are they all turned a little sideways?

  I tried to make them all turned a little side ways, but given that they don’t have necks I had to convey it via their little ears. Confused dog look is one of the best things in the world.

How is it possible that the pee is falling towards the ground, shouldn’t it be floating around since their in space? but yeah the dog is cute.

  The dog is so dense he has his own center of gravity.

  I was going to theorize that the pee had enough weight to carry it down even in limited gravity into an arc… but let’s be honest here, I just wanted it to arc and drown Rodney in a puddle because it’s funny. ha ha. So sorry, this moment falls into those “if it’s funny or cool, reality gives way to the moment” things

Where did Rodney get the giant paper roll, was dehydrated and the pee made it grow?

  As with many of his disposable props he just pulled it out of his ass (not literally!). ha ha. There is a rule on that I live by though! Rodney and Dornail’s gags can’t be used as easy outs. Like say… he couldn’t just whip out a “giant mutant dog killing ray gun” and kill the dog in one shot. It’s gotta just be for laughs.

Poor Rodney! Right in the epissenter! The dog in panel 3 is great! Very toon! And I love the ol cartoon gag of pulling something out from behind your back! Reality be damned! Next we’ll see someone fall off a cliff with a little “Help!” sign.
